Honk your horn for love, and get a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate!!!
Young Masterbuilders In Motion, Inc., volunteers and the members of the 49th Ward Chicago Police, 49th Ward Fire Station, and Alderwoman Maria Hadden come together to spread love, public safety information and good cheer on Valentine’s Day 2025. Neighbors are invited to come out and help us greet each other with a warm smile, and grab a cup of hot chocolate and coffee.
Founder and President of Young Masterbuilders in Motion, Inc., Kim Wright says, “We recognize that Valentine’s Day which is known for an outward expression of love, may be a time that triggers sadness for so many who have lost love ones due to a number of reasons. Right now, the world is divided, and people are experiencing hardships in so many ways. Although our team is small, we are intentional about making a difference, even in a small way. If you are out and about, join us and take the time to share a warm smile, enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate or coffee on your way to work or school. Stop by and blow your horn for love, say hi, and help us remind our community that people care.”
Please also help us to support young people with lived experience as an orphan, adoptee or foster youth. The Young Masterbuilders in Motion team is accepting donation drop offs of new, warm winter sock to distribute to those in need. A collection container will be available at the Valentine’s Day event. To learn more, take a tour through our web page and let us know if you want to get involved.
