The Young Masterbuilders in Motion (YMIM) volunteers help us transcend the chaotic atmosphere of the day and help our program participants find connection to peace, self-awareness, healthy relationships, and strategic planning for the future.

The themes we found that best offer a collaborative thinking solution are live, love, and learn.

Live – Life Skills

Our fundamental component to holistic mentoring includes enriched life skills lessons. In most every empowerment workshop or retreat we provide hands-on lessons to build upon skills needed to navigate life in personal, social and professional settings.

Love – We Are One | Your Heart Kindles Our Heart

Learn – Academic tutoring

We are seeking volunteer tutors who have a flair for explaining complex ideas and concepts into manageable, fundamental lessons delivered in bite-size pieces. We believe that every participant with the desire to learn, evolve and grow can benefit from the Socratic method even when applied to humanities and STEM subjects.
